Looking into the future!!

LZ5 is nearing completion, and you'll know when we're ready for it because Theta will be heading out to make room and the traditional upgrading homepage will take its place for a day or so.

Don't worry, we're ready for REACH.

Foreword and upward...                                                             

Where LZ has been headed has been an interesting and varying topic over the years. For a while it looked like we were set on a semi-mediocre online story website, then we evolved into gaming, then we started making our own games, and now we have a pleasing mix of gaming from us and the general industry.

But as far as my own personal projects, apart from the LZ5 website design currently in progress I have two or three things I'm always working on here on the website that I can truely call my own: Marked, Pokemon Continuum, and Project ORION.

Nothing but good news from the last one, but the fate of the other two on that list has been a bit up in the air. The good news is that with the new site design, once its in place, I think I'll have some more time for the print projects I run in addition to the video series we all know and love, so I just wanted to let you know that.

That is, if I can drag myself away from Reach, and then there's this thing called school.....

Updating to a new generation. .                                                     


As a few of you know, I've been working on a new version of legend zero to sync up with the release of the upcoming life-sucker Reach. Good news is that I'm at the point where the current lz hits the dust so I can finish the new one, bad news is Shawn isn't with the new video player. However were working at it, I just wanted to keep you guys in the loop.

The new lz WILL be out before the 14th.                                                           

What happens next??                                               


The next VLOG is live in all its unpolished glory. Granted I do love just sititng back and making a video but I'm thinking I need to add some more pizzaz, what about you??

Guys, I love it when there's content to deliver, and this time I have double the pleasure to also say that this video is from one of you guys!! BigAdio took the time to do a commentary on the most recent REACH related video, so after seeing his work on the Black Ops trailer and being assured he was interested in doing this for a while, BAM! some more LZ featured videos for you guys!!

Adio's work is going under Beating the Game for right now but it might evolve into its own series in time, who knows. All I know right now is that he has done some awesome work already and there's only more to come!!

And as far as those other videos... let's just say those promises we made in the 2010 trailer are about to come true. Stay tuned tomorrow for the Vlog numero siete for more info there.

Thoughts and plans... thoughts and plans....                                       



With the school year approaching and one of the best falls for Legend Zero just over the horizon, the time has come to think about yet another renovation to our humble little corner of the internet. This is part of many different ideas, but overall it's the ever-evolving internet that makes me want to keep LZ current for you.

The overall timetable for the upgrade is pre-Project ORION as many of the updates will involve videos so I want to be able to have the whole season in one format. I have a few different ideas planned for this thing and trust me the look will definitely amp up with many new features to match.

For this reason I'm asking what you would like to see on Legend Zero, and don't worry I'll have some previews coming up soon.

Keeping you on your toes...                                                       



Theta makes for some easy theming. Colors images and the overall look of the site can be changed at will for all the pages with just a single file edit, so you know I like to play around with different feels for the website, and after setting up a new background for the YouTube, it only made sense to show the site some love and update it as well.

We're looking for a few good spartans...                                           





Face it, we need to send Halo 3 out with a bang, and what better way to ring in Reach than with a marathon session of the video series that makes Halo such a prominent part of this website??

Project ORION season 2 production has started to ramp up, with voices coming in and more and more plans to catch those missing lines I still need. There are a few holdouts, but at the same time the audio is moving together nicely. Good news for me, better news for the fans.

While I can say I'm not the only one working on something ORION related, there are a few other things about the second season we can't just go giving away everything?? What will you have to look forward to?

Rest assured ORION is my focus right now, because with apple changing their app finalizing process I'm stuck until they get their act together. I might get something ORION related out onto the app store soon also though, so have faith and know I am saving my best work to come.

However, I can spare a hint, in the form of two new ORION backgrounds!!

There's only one step more before this app can be released to the world, and that's not even code related. The app is done programming-wise, and now only requires finalizing to the apple website, a few on-devise tests, and then submission to the app store for final release. In other words, we're have the first RC of the app ready to go.
