My Best Yugioh Decks

Well, considering most of my decks have been deleted on here, I decided to make one thread for them all, so as not to lose them again. You guys can give tips about them as well.

Starting off the bunch is a deck I'm pretty well-known for (well, at least on the online dueling, that is), and that's my Horus deck, although, he's gotten some new allies as well as new support, and a new name. Mind ya, I got influenced on this deck from my Reverse of Arcadia Deck, Powers of Dragons.

This deck is going to keep evolving as the new Dragunity Tuners and some other choice dragons are got, as well as more copies of certain spells and traps, that is.

Sadly, there are no duelists in the game whom part with Wyverns, so you'll have to unlock tag teams. Speaking of which, teams Protect & Burn, Darkness + Fiends, Angels & the Fallen, Cyber Dragunity, Explosive Tag, Love Reptiles?, Fusion & Synchro, Order in Chaos, Water & Fire, and Removal Guys unlock a new team by beating them 3 times, and you'll need to do two of the following:

- Activate 200 each of total Spell Cards and total Trap Cards
- Complete 300 Single Duels
- Complete 150 Tag Duels
- Complete 75 Turbo Duels
- Summon VWXYZ - Dragon Catapult Cannon
- Summon Five-Headed Dragon
- Win a duel by attacking with Skull Servant
- Summon Rainbow Dragon.

That'll open up World Championship Edition 8, which contains your Red-Eyes Wyvern.

My favorite way to deal with Horus is actually involves a deck called "Disaster Dragon," a slower-paced, more control-oriented product of Hopeless Dragon. Here's a sample list.

The whole idea is to use Masked Dragon and Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon to toolbox your deck as necessary. Between Koa'ki Meiru Drago, Horus, and Light and Darkness Dragon, you've got several beatsticks that help you control the duel, Book of Moon can be used defensively to cancel an attack or to flip LaDD or Koa'ki Meiru Dragon face down to temporarily free yourself from their effects, and you have a plethora of Dragon-Type Synchros available to you in the Extra Deck. You also have Catastor, Brionac, and Goyo Guardian for emergency use, though only summon them if absolutely necessary. Pot of Avarice can be used to get them out of the Graveyard so they don't conflict with Totem Dragon if needed, however.

Sadly, I can't come up with a Turbo Duel variant because Speed Spell - Future Fusion doesn't exist. I suppose if you could come up with a fast enough way to generate Speed Counters, you could use Speed Spell - Painful Choice in its place. Trap Stun would be even more important there as well, I'd run a full complement.

Well, surprisingly, my Turbo Duel version of my Horus deck was the one that got FGD, and against Jack, of all people. Quite funny too, since I used the Speed Spell - Speed Fusion for that one.

The ones for the Rainbow Dragon, Dragon Cannon, and Skull Servant might be tricky to do... Might have to enlist the first duelist I took on in the B.A.D. area for those.

I don't go by standard decks. I have a combination of Fiends and Warriors. It's primarily a swarm deck, used to get my Obelisk, The Tormentor out, but that isn't the card I rely on. Pretty mixed up but haven't lost yet. I use Infernity fiends, and it beat a Lightsworn deck (he even had judgement dragon). I put up a list later when Im home.

Well, I now have an even MORE deadlier version of the otherwise-deadly "Power of Dragons" deck. Take one part Special Summon, one part Synchro Summon, and one part Fusion Summon, and what do you get? Well, Dragons Den, that's what! See, now that I have a Future Fusion for my FGD, the "toolbox" version takes on a whole new dimension.

Now, I know that deck seems a bit unbalanced, but remember. There's three Red-Eyes Darkness Dragons as well as Genesis and several Tuners. Also, when I play my cards right, I usually have it where I get two Darkness Dragons, two Wyverns, and one of the turners or a level 5 monster in my graveyard, so I'm set for anything. If it's my first turn when I do this, well, let's just say that my opponent gets a rather nasty surprise when I end my turn.

Well, this'll be my last post for a bit, because of a vacation tomorrow, but it is for one of my latest decks that I've been having fun with, and one that Big would enjoy: A Skill Drain Deck. Called "Skill Drain Fun", this deck mixes Normal monsters with monsters whose stat-reducing effects or effects that would cause them to go to the GY at the end of the turn are negated while Skill Drain is in play. It does really well as well, so check it out!

Well, I've been having quite a bit of fun with Reverse of Arcadia, especially with the challenges to get the new packs. To get certain monsters to show up in the WC, however, you have to summon them, and that can be tricky. What I'll be showing next is some of the decks that I use to get those to show. Note that most of these are one-time plays, with the exception of a few. For best results, play against B.E.S. Big Core MK-2 and also have Gold Sarcophagus in your deck to draw out what you need (especially for those for special summons that might be buried in your deck). Note that you can tweak these for your playing styles, but these are only samples that I used.

Tweaking the "Ancient Wonders" deck gave me the deck that I needed to summon Flying Fortress SKY FIRE, "World War III". Its name comes from a line Crow said in his duel against Greiger: "That's not a monster! It's World War III!"

Now, this next deck was for at least three of the challenges, but the main ones were the "Effect Damage Only" and the "No Monsters Deck" ones. The solution? A stall/burn deck with Tokens. Not one I'd want to play competively, but it is fun!

I'd like to see your take on a game-ending Skull Servant strike. I found a King of the Skull Servants deck packing Opti-Camouflage Armor with Triangle Power to give Skull Servant the power to deal the final blow was easiest for me.

...my PUGM deck abused Gold Sarcophagus and the insane amount of Insect search out there. Verdant Sanctuary, Howling Insect, Gokipon...

And winning with Vennominaga is one of the most headache inducing challenges, because you not only have to summon her, but you have to make sure she's small enough that you can attack your opponent three times.

For challenges, however, it's absolutely easiest if you abuse Recipe Mode. Once you own 90% of the cards, Recipe Mode lets you duel against one of your saved deck recipes. Just make up one that's all Level 5 normal monsters, and you're free to set up to your heart's content. Makes some of those challenges much more bearable.

I can still say, even with the new-and-improved deck and B.E.S. Big Core MK-2 as my sparring partner, it was still tricky, as it took four tries to do so. Still, it's a pretty decent deck, once you get used to it.

Well, unlike decks that we create outta a bunch of cards we buy, Starter Decks already have ideas in them to work on what you want to happen. Plus, they have little booklets that show how to power up the deck. Plus, I wouldn't be able to test it in my game. ^^;

Well, I have almost all the packs unlocked on Reverse of Arcadia (Just missing All At Random), so soon, I'll be able to create several decks to test out and try my luck against in the Recipe Duel.
