Let the Games Begin!

There is a reason we kept this update a day longer. We needed time to finalize some things and I needed my Xbox to do that. Being at school, I was on strict no-xbox time due to my 30 mile separation for the beloved gaming wonder. But, with yesterday’s time, we finalized a few things for KG and are finally ready to announce our first tournament on the website. Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the Two For The Road Tournament!!



The two for the Road Tournament is a 2v2 showdown of 16 teams that will be run through our sister site Krypton Gaming. The Rules are pretty much an updated version of what you have come to know and love on KG, with some updated rules that will also now be going site-wide. Some of the smaller changes are pretty simple, including small modifications to the bomb times in Search and Destroy and Demolition. They are:

Search and Destroy
-  Bomb Plant time increased to 10 Seconds
 - Bomb Timer increased to 45 seconds

Demolition
- Bomb plant time increased to 10 seconds
- Bomb Timer decreased to 30 seconds

These changes are the direct result of play testing and feedback we have received from you guys. They’re always up for change, so make sure to keep an eye on the rules of the ladder you are playing on before starting up a match.

Let this be a notice, we’re going to be running more tournaments on many different games soon. It’s time we took KG to its full potential.

In Other News 

Hackers updating is starting to reach a high point. We’re just about done updating all the cards that already have images and will soon be looking throughout the community and the world for art for the remaining cards. Soon, VERY soon, we shall be able to print these for play. We’re just as excited about it as you are, stay tuned.

We’re working on a few new videos, including news updates, some comedy, and some machinima. If you have something you really want to see, let us know. If not, sit back and enjoy what we already have to offer. We’re about to overcome some major barriers to some of our bigger series, so we should have some fresh new content out soon.

If I had an XBox 360...maybe.  Ya see, I don't have to worry about typing it because all the tournaments are hosted on XBox.  I'm safe...for now!

That's the only problem with these type of tournaments.  People sometimes just disappear halfway through them.

As long as you stay tough with the rules and kick people out if they wait too long, I don't think you'll have too much of a problem with finishing it.
